In the game of Real Estate, it is your job to list, sell, and manage investment properties. I am sure this is what you do best, not sitting at home or lying in bed, thinking about Real Estate Lead generation ideas. Well, lucky for you, because we are going to give you the simplest idea. However, a complex one to orchestrate to the point of completion and get it functioning. We call it the lead magnet. What well thought out piece of content do you have that is so valuable that someone is willing to forfeit their details to get it?
If the answer is none, well, you have to get cracking on it. Every business is different, and you must consider at what point of the lead cycle you are trying to engage with this potential customer. In my experience, I like to put my energy into the top end of the funnel as less people are fishing there. Most people want a lead today, like now, that will list or do business with you, instantly. Higher reward, less effort, harder to convert. I think pitching at the top, nurturing a lead until fruition, is a far better strategy.

For sales, you really just need to think about the questions that people want the answers to before they go to the market. It is scary for them. They want to be armed with information and who is the best person to deliver that information? YOU! You are transacting properties daily, so you are the best person to share your local knowledge with them.
What does a property seller want? More money, in a shorter amount of time, where the sale aligns with their plans. If you can hit this trigger, you will get in the door immediately. Now keep in mind, online is so different from offline. Major claims work, secret success formulas work and titles that repulse you actually will get results.

It sounds cheesy, but it works and I hate having to do it, but I like leads, as they convert to dollars, that make more than cents. What about property management? What tickles the consumer in that area? Well, it is simple, growth in a portfolio, where they can save money and increase their asset value. But, quite frankly, no one wants to listen to a Property Manager about their stories, My suggestion is getting real and getting raw. Interview your Landlords and make sure you touch on all of it – First Time Investor, an Investor that bought 2 and someone who has a significant portfolio. Think about that for your local investors or interstate investors, sharing their knowledge and how you look after their property. Makes sense?
The internet is all about compelling content and I can tell you, for sure, there is no short cut. However, when you get it right, you will not be able to wipe the smile off your face.
